Source Text Revision and Editing 

At Onni Studio Translations, the foundation of excellence in translation begins with meticulous revision and editing of the source text. We understand that perfection in translation is unattainable if the source text itself is flawed. Our process involves: 

1. Improvement and Correction: Our native-speaking editors scrutinize the source text to enhance and correct it where necessary. This ensures that the content is clear, consistent, and free from errors. 
2. Preparation for Translation: We prepare the source text to be seamlessly imported into specialized translation software, adhering to all required rules and guidelines. This preparation ensures smooth processing and reduces the risk of errors and misinterpretations. 

Our editors aim to enhance readability and segmentation, addressing issues like inconsistency in terminology, which might otherwise complicate the translation process. By eliminating these issues, we pave the way for a smoother, more accurate translation journey. 

Translation 

At Onni Studio Translations, our core focus is on human translation. While machine translation and AI tools may assist in certain cases, our emphasis remains on thorough, human-driven linguistic processing. Our approach includes: 

• Native Linguists: All our linguists are native speakers of the target language, residing in the target language country, and proficient in the source language. They hold degrees in Linguistics/Translation or possess over five years of professional translation experience. 
• Dual Revision Cycles: Each translation undergoes two cycles: initial translation by a professional linguist followed by a revision by a second professional. For specialized projects, a third linguist or subject matter expert may conduct a final review upon request. 

 Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance (QA) is integral to our translation process. At each stage, we apply rigorous quality standards to ensure the highest level

of accuracy and consistency. Our QA process includes: 

• Detailed checks post-translation to verify linguistic accuracy and adherence to client specifications. 
• Application of advanced QA tools to identify and rectify any discrepancies. 

Final Monolingual Proofreading

 After completing all translation and revision steps, a final monolingual proofreading is performed. This step ensures the document is ready for its final purpose, whether publication or internal use, and that it meets all layout and formatting requirements. Project Management Our Translation Project Managers (PMs) are seasoned linguists with PM certifications. Their role is to oversee your translation projects with a focus on quality and efficiency. Their deep understanding of linguistic processes and client needs ensures the successful execution of your projects.
